Management Statement of Commitment
We, members of Saulsbury Industries Management agree that:
We are committed to doing our best to provide outstanding safety and health protection to our employees through management systems and employee involvement;
We agree to correct in a timely manner all hazards identified through self-inspections, employee reports, accident investigations, or any other means with interim protection provided as necessary;
We are committed to excellence in environmental stewardship, safety, and occupational health for all people on and off the job.
Safe work practices and continuous improvement are an integral part of our business and are built on the belief that all injuries and occupational illnesses are preventable.
All individuals are responsible for their safety and also that of their fellow workers.
We are committed to preserving the environment and maintaining the systems necessary to protect it. As leaders, we are accountable for the environment and safety of those in our organizations and will not tolerate any deviation from environmental or safety procedures either by others or ourselves.
If any associate feels that he/she is being instructed to commit an unsafe, unlawful, or environmentally injurious act, we support and expect the individual to report this to any Supervisor, Safety Department Representative or Manager immediately for resolution prior to carrying out the instructions.
